Overview
A solo exhibition consolidating the artist's later 〈On the Path〉 body of work under a single title. Held for one week in September 2017 at Gallery DOS, the show drew together threads from 〈Samādhi〉 (2012) and 〈Toward That Shore〉 (2014). In a conversation with critic Ahn Dae-woong, the artist unfolded the working stance "to ask the way while on the way."
Hyunbul Daily News covered the show, noting how the artist's later practice reframes the spirituality of Korean landscape painting as a question for contemporary art.
